The Haywain Triptych by Hieronymus Bosch

In the center, a giant cart of hay rolls along while people of every class fight to grab a handful, and demons pull it straight toward hell on the right. On the left is Paradise.

Bosch painted it around 1516. The idea comes from a Flemish saying: the world is a haystack, and everyone takes what they can grab.
