Flora, goddess of spring and flowers, holds out her hand with a few blossoms, wearing a wide hat decorated with flowers. Rembrandt painted her around 1654.

The model may have been Hendrickje Stoffels, his companion. He had painted his late wife Saskia as Flora twenty years earlier.
