Children's Games by Pieter Bruegel the Elder

A town square crowded with children playing more than eighty games: leapfrog, hoops, blind man’s buff, piggyback rides, playing house. Bruegel painted it in 1560.

Historians have used it to identify games from the 16th century. Try to find the children riding barrels, and the boy blowing up a pig’s bladder as a balloon.
